
Three pieces of equipment are housed in this station. It has one multipurpose room and three equipment bays. The second station is located on Stoudertown Road in Liberty Township. Seven vehicles are housed in this station. It has all of the District’s offices, a conference room, equipment bays, and sleeping and eating facilities.

The main station is located on Washington Street in the Village. The Fire District operates out of two stations. There is a full paramedic crew in the district at all times. There is a 3-person medic-level crew on station 24 hours a day. The Fire District is currently staffed with fulltime, parttime and volunteer personnel. The team nickname is the Lions and the school colors are red and black. The school serves grades 9 through 12 and has approximately 425 students.

He was appointed Chief by the Fire Board on Janaand has been with the Fire District since 1987. The Liberty Union-Thurston High School is located at 500 Washington Street. Under the Ohio Revised Code, the Fire District Trustees may exercise the same powers as are granted to Township Trustees with regard to fire protection services, including, but not limited to, the adoption of a fire code, purchasing fire and ambulance equipment, appointing firefighting personnel, and levying a tax for fire protection.

The five-member Board includes a Baltimore Village Council member, a member of the Liberty Township Trustees, a resident of the Village, a resident of Liberty Township, and an at-large position that can be filled by a resident of the Village or the Township. The Fire District is governed by a Board of Fire District Trustees. The Fire District serves the Village of Baltimore and the adjoining Liberty Township and has a coverage area of more than 48 square miles. Baltimore is served by the Basil Joint Fire District.
